A favourite around our house. If we aren’t fast eaters the kids will get it all before we even have a chance.

Ingredients:

1 lb BC albacore tuna
Salt
Pepper
1/2 cup Panko
Oil
4 Tablespoons soy sauce
1 Tablespoon freshly grated ginger
2 Tablespoons palm sugar
2 Tablespoons white wine vinegar
1 Tablespoon fresh squeezed lime juice

Instructions:

Season loin with salt and pepper on all sides and coat with panko.

Heat frying pan with oil to smoke point.

Meanwhile, combine soya sauce, ginger, palm sugar, wine vinegar, and lime juice in small sauce pan and heat for 5 minutes on medium heat.

Sear tuna on all sides for 1 minute or to taste. Let rest for 5 minutes then slice into 1/4 inch pieces with sharp knife and drizzle sauce over sliced tuna and serve.
